On 23 August 2026 the sports field in Dzimierz (Lyski municipality, Rybnik county) became the stage for an event the region had never seen before. At the end of the village festival, 108 motorcycles lined up in the shape of a huge, glowing Polish flag. Silesia Lasers prepared the laser show and smoke jets lit in white and red for the finale.
What was MotoFlaga 2026?
MotoFlaga was a project organised by Dawid Panic and partners. The idea was simple and powerful: to create a white-and-red flag out of exactly 108 motorcycles whose lights, after dark, form the national colours. The number was no accident – it referred to the 108th anniversary of Poland regaining independence.
The motto of the event was “108 motorcycles. One flag. One story”. The organisers billed MotoFlaga as the first and largest motorcycle flag of Poland created in this form. The whole event was filmed and photographed from a drone.
Our role: a laser show and red-and-white smoke
A flag made of motorcycles looks best from above. Our job was to make the finale just as impressive from the audience's point of view – and to make it look great in the drone footage. For the finale we prepared:
- a white-and-red laser show accompanying the unveiling of the flag,
- smoke jets lit in white and red that echoed the colours of the flag and added depth to the scene.
Smoke and light play a double role here. Coloured smoke columns emphasise the national colours and at the same time make the laser beams visible in the air. That way even simple light patterns turn into three-dimensional stage design.
What did the evening at MotoFlaga 2026 look like?
The festival lasted all day. It began at 2 pm with a mass, followed by the official part. Kasia Lorenc and the band JuRad performed on stage, and the headliner of the evening was Golden Mix. Later DJ Jano warmed up the crowd. Families could enjoy helicopter flights, a funfair, a food zone and stalls with local products.
From 6 pm the field began to fill with motorcycles. At exactly 9 pm, when the side floodlights went out, the climax began: the machines formed a huge Polish flag, and the show was completed by lasers, illuminated smoke and the sound of motorcycle engines. Local media covered the finale, and TVP Katowice also prepared a report.
